Caring for myself is not self-indulgence—It is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.

    Trans* | Non-Binary

The experience of being transgender and non-binary is often pathologized by the medical community. Therapists are often guilty of reducing trans and enby people to simply their gender and sexual identities. I’m here to listen to you and your experience—the entirety of it. I have written numerous HRT and gender-affirming surgery letters. I’ve also worked with clients to repair the harm and violence of being misgendered. I’m here to fiercely support you on your journey!

Queer People of Faith | Queer Muslim

Often the most isolated members of their faith or faith-based communities, queer people of faith are often not seen—until they’re cited as cautionary tales. As a queer Muslim myself and as someone who works with queer folx from various faith-based backgrounds, I can understand the frustration that can sometimes come with simultaneously feeling judged for not coming out and also worried about losing the community that one grew up in.

  • Polyamory flag: red, blue, and black stripe with a yellow heart and a yellow heart and infinity sign in the middle.

    Polyamory | ENM | CNM

Polyamorous people and those who practice ethical or consensual non-monogamy are often stereotyped as being “hypersexual nymphomaniacs.” Firstly, there is nothing wrong with wanting sex—and lots of it! Secondly, not all poly/ENM/CNM experiences revolve around sex, especially for those who are ace (asexual), gray-ace, or even demisexual. I’m here to support you (and your partner(s)) as you navigate multiple partners, relationships, and bonds.

A celebration of the LGBTQ, LGBT, LGBTQIA+, queer, trans, poly, kinky, rainbow communities in California.

Working with the LGBTQ Center of Orange County.

The LGBTQ Center of Orange County, built on ancestral Tongva and Acjachemen tribal lands, is a great resource for anyone in the queer community, allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those who are looking to learn more about the queer experience. I highly encourage you to check out their website for a range of resources that might be useful to you. I trained with the Center as a marriage and family therapist trainee, and as a registered associate marriage and family therapist, I continued to volunteer my time there for the community.
